Florida looks strong in the first 14 minutes of play. For Tennessee to extend its 5 game winning streak, our shooting percentage needs a lift. Tennessee is hanging with Florida only down by 5.
Tennessee hits its first free throw with 0.2 seconds left in the first half. Every one of our guys should adopt Shaq as their middle name! We are 1 for 5 in the first half.
4 point lead with 1:05 is way not enough. Tennessee has gone cold shooting and can't guard the paint.
Hey Tom I told you earlier in the season that that Tennessee always plays the Gators tough. No matter what kind of season we have had. Nice win for Tennessee.
Great game Tenn.... and excuse me if I do not pick this UF team to win it all in my NCAA pools. They had so many open looks in the last 5 minutes that could have changed the game and like usual in that situation they can't make them. Elite 8 would be a strong finish for these shaky Gators.
With 4 minutes to go and an 8 point lead, the Gator point guard drove the paint twice in two drives to cut the lead in half. Give your guys credit for a strong performance with key injuries. You have two of those injured players back next week. I know... giving your guys credit would also give Tennessee credit. Never mind.
Florida played great defense....but Tenn shot the lights out with hands in their faces....they were clutch.....UF was not and it has been a pattern each of the last three Tuesdays on the road in the SEC at Arkansas, Mo. and now at Tenn. That pattern does not bode well for winning the NCAA tourney and I really thought this Gator team had a good shot to do it. Now? Who knows? Who the hell will be the favorite this year? It certainly will make those NCAA pools very interesting unlike last year when everybody picked Ky..... and everybody turned out to be right.
I think you finally put it into words that will come back to bite you one day Dave. If I read this right, you are of the belief that as long as you can back it up, bullying is justified.
Wrong topic Tom.....you meant to comment on SOS. In any event what Spurrier did was poke and prod and give fodder to the media. I would hardly call his comments "bullying"....more like a brash cockiness....annoying as hell to his opponents.....but bullying is a little strong for it.
If you're a Florida (or Carolina I guess) fan it is brash cockiness. If not, he's just another asshole.
I don't think Spurrier is a bully....Mike Leach, now he's a bully.....The Ol' Ball Coach?....pretty much just like Saban, Kiffey, Urbey, and Stoopsy...just an arrogant pric.
