The Volunteers of Tennessee head to College Station tomorrow to play Texas A&M for the first time as conference rivals. Cindy and I have acquired our tickets and are headed there tomorrow morning. 4 pm Eastern tip off. Any chance of a Aggie Scott sighting???
Sorry Tom, can't make it. Put yourselves down for a win. We've fallen a LONG way under current coach Billy Kennedy. It was fun to be a basketball school for a while, but looks like that has come to an end for the time being.
Scott lied! aTM up by 3 at the half. Tennessee off offensively but aTm defense has a lot to do with that.
Some game. Barring the Aggies hitting a shot with 1.9 seconds left it will be going to a 2nd OT. The game has been back and forth the whole game. Aggies missed, into the 2nd OT.
88-80 fat lady warming u and stepping onto the stage. 93-85 Tennessee in 4 OT's. What a great game for Tom and Cindy to get to see. Time to go to the Gator game in time for tipoff.
Scott, From what I saw, aTm is a well coached team with athletes that can't spell the word "quit". That #35 took a face plant where it appeared he was out like a light. He collided with his own teammate and was parallel to the ground about 4 ft high and landed flat on his face. After about two minutes, he shook it off, popped to his feet, spent about 5 minutes on the bench and was back in the game. The Aggies had the game won in the second overtime but the Vols managed to get the ball back and score 4 points in the last 6 seconds to tie it up again. You telling me to mark that one as a win was "incorrect information". The Aggies have too much fight in them especially on defense for any team to get an "easy win".
