Fulmer extended though 2012 and gets a raise! Extension And Raise For Fulmer In all seriousness I think it was pretty remarkable that Tenn made it to the SEC Championship, then they almost knocked LSU out of the BCS Championship game.
I personally think Fulmer deserved it after what all he went through and overcame this year. I think Hamilton should have maybe waited until after the bowl game to give the raise though. Just kidding, but in all seriousness you can only go out on a losing note so many times.....

I know Ohio State fans were mortified that Lloyd Carr is retiring. Florida fans want Bobby Bowden to coach into his 90s if possible....etc, etc. It's almost to that point with Phil...and I don't mean that to insult anyone here personally...it's just fact.
