Doubt he makes it to the major leagues, but he does draw fans.

I think gip's post refers back to when Tebow and Brady Quinn were both on the Bronco's and Tebow took a shot at Quinn and ND. But to be fair Brady took some shots at Tebow as well.

He is still chasing his dream to compete at an elite level even though the odds of success are probably insurmountable and is willing to endure the insults he will receive from the media and players in his Don Quixote like quest. He certainly does not have to do it as he probably earns a yearly seven figure income with his endorsements, motivational speaking gigs, etc. It has to be humbling for someone who achieved his level of success to be struggling so badly in the minor leagues but have to give him credit for fighting away even though the odds seem hopeless.

Who cares what outsiders say? Who cares if he makes it or not to the Show? His life is good. His faith is his shield against the haters. He's playing the game and getting paid for it. I'd trade places with him in a New York minute. Anyone who's ever played and still loves the game knows exactly what I'm saying.

Ya know, I was thinking of Tebow last week watching the Saints play. They have a guy who was a QB in college, but with the Saints, he plays a bunch of positions, WR, TE, RB, and QB. His name is Taysom Hill. Where Tebow took the 'I am going to play QB or nothing at all' approach, Hill has taken the 'whatever I gotta do to help the team win' approach. There's even a chance that Hill could be the starting QB in New Orleans for a few years after Brees retires (or gets hurt again). I've always wondered why more people don't heap praise on Hill the way they have Tebow?

As for Tebow's baseball career, I'm with Sid. He's on the bus, and we're not. We're all just jealous little girls while he gets to spend another day in the sun picking up a paycheck.

First of all, Bama lost by more than ND. Did he say anything about them? NO. Second, OK, who should have been there instead?

There is no way we belonged in the Top Four. We already lost to Georgia In my opinion Bama would have crushed us this year. I don't think we could beat Wisconsin or Oregon either.

Tebow is a flag waving SEC homer and you can't really view him as anything but that.
