Mandel has some interesting thoughts on this. In Detroit last Fri. afternoon the day after the BCS title game some local radio heads on WDFN the Fan had a funny gig going on. Any caller calling about any sports topic...Red Wings...Pistons...Lions etc. first had to say "something nice" about Tim Tebow before they could proceed. It was very amusing... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/stewart_mandel/01/13/mailbag/index.html?eref=T1
Tebow <r>I would like to comment on this subject but I just get myself in trouble every time I say anything even slightly derogatory about young Mr. Tebow. I would say though that the term "Tebow Fatigue" sums it up nicely. <E></E></r>
Yeah there probably is a little Tim Tebow fatigue, but when you have accomplished as much as Tim has the last 2 years it's bound to happen. I had Reggie Bush fatigue by the time he left for the NFL.
I saw the article earlier and the author, Mandel is very complimentary of Tebow. This is an interesting quote from his article which I think is short enough to not violate our policy on quoting from the article, which is linked above. I find his comments very interesting.
I don't think the Gator Bowl was on here in the metro New York area. I think it was blacked out in favor of a 24 hour Yankeeography Marathon.
Hey George, the Gator Bowl may have been blanked out here in Franklin NC also except that Clemson is less than 100 miles away and one of the local channels I get with Dish network is a South Carolina station.
