I'm sure it's just a coincidence that Josh "The Way Back Machine" is pitching today. 8)

Dice-K getting out dueled by Felix Hernandez. Manny's hairdo looks weirder than ever, what up with the red high lights?

Hernandez was impressive, throwing a one-hitter. Thanks to JD Drew for breaking it up. More than makes up for running into the third out at third base the other night against Tejas.

Dice-K looked good, but during that one stretch (with two outs even, I think) the M's knocked him around a bit. I'm pretty sure they were all swinging at the first pitch, too.

This was my first time seeing Dice-K. That's a very good pitcher. He made some mistakes on locations, especially on his first pitches as BDR pointed out, but his stuff is great. He was consistently around 95mph with the fastball and he has three good pitches. He should win a lot of games with stuff like that...

Marco Scutaro, now 2 for 20 on the season after his two-out, last-strike, three-run dinger wins the game 5-4.

He's this year's Wakefield. That was a shaky 4th, though.

Reminds me of Randy Johnson and the D-backs a few years ago. Great pitching performances, no run backup. This performance wasn't "great" but he deserved some support from those monster bats.

Owning New York? What was the purchase price for this epicenter of humanity?

I think this was one of the few times when the Dutch came out on the short end of the stick on a business transaction.

This just doesn't have the same ring to it.... 8)

Start spreading the news, Im leaving today
I want to be a part of it - Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids
These vagabond shoes, are longing to stray
Right through the very heart of it - Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids

I wanna wake up in a city, that doesnt sleep
And find Im king of the hill - top of the heap

These little town blues, are melting away
Ill make a brand new start of it - in old Grand Rapids
If I can make it there, Ill make it anywhere
Its up to you - Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids

I want to wake up in a city, that never sleeps
And find Im a number one top of the list, king of the hill
    A number one

These little town blues, are melting away
Im gonna make a brand new start of it - in old Grand Rapids
And if I can make it there, Im gonna make it anywhere

It up to you - Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids
