    Terry,

Thanks! We are going to have our hands full with the Volunteers this evening. Glad we play in the late game, as I have a zoning meeting this evening.

We had some problems with Tennessee's press last go around. I look for this one to go down to the wire as well.

    Don

I'm hopeful, but at this point it's all gravy for me.
I know we have a very good team and a lot of folks have picked us to advance some more, but it's still hard to believe.
So as a result I really don't feel any pressure on our guys.
Even if the Aggies don't advance any further, it's been a great season.

Good luck to all the kids! :D

Don, you're right on the money about the problems we faced dealing with the Vol pressure....and it's not going to be any easier this go around with a freshman point guard during crunch time in the sweet 16. Pearl's kids do a great job with it.....and he learned from one of the best.

The Lofton kid is a baller....we're just going to have to control him as best we can and not let him go nuts or let our kids get frustrated trying to stop him. They just have to realize he's a great player and he's going to get his points.

They are a tough team that Coach Pearl has playing well. I fully expect a great back and forth game that should go down to the wire. Best of luck to Tom, Cindy and the rest of the Vol fans here.....I hope both teams play well. It will be a good one. Enjoy!

Too bad 3 of the 4 Skybox teams ended up in the same bracket!

An all Skybox Final Four would have been nice!! :)

Oh .... no particular reason. Could be any of the 4 still in the West. Maybe Kansas would be a good pick so UF could get some revenge?

Wow! Big time home court advantage for the Aggies! Great crowd! Scott, my man, how did you manage to pull that one off? So much for the benefits of a #1 seed huh?

Both the Ags and Salukis are hangin tough! Good luck!

First, Scott a tough loss for your team, but still a great season.
As for my Buckeyes, what can you say, down 20 points at the half and come back to win in the final minutes.

Tennessee was red hot in the first half. Lofton is deadly from outside and I have never seen a player anymore unselfish than Bradshaw.

All the games this evening were pretty close and great to watch.

Well UCLA and the Pac10 roll on, but there is no joy in Muddville. Down in Division II, making their first ever appearance in the Final Four, my alma mater, thee Mighty Friggen Howling Ky-Yo-Tees of Cal State San Bernardino (aka Cal State U @ San Berdoo) were eliminated when they lost by one point to a bunch of lame-O's called Barton. That's probably a business school somewhere...

    Ow- Woooooooooooooooo!

I went to bed thinking the Bucks were cooked. Woke up this morning to see they recovered and won. Obviously a great comeback. Had TN won the game, there would have been an all-Tennessee regional final. It makes me wonder.....Since Ohio State and Cincy in the early 60s, has there been a finals with both teams from the same state?

    Sid,

I can not answer your question. But how long as it been since all #1 seeds reached the final four? (Assuming of course that the Gators and Tarheels win this evening.)

Also, I saw something in the SB Tribune about some sort of suit, involving a Mishawalka HS and the treatment of their son by the coach. His mother works for the school system as well. Sounds like a nasty situation in that the parents are joining the school in the suit.

Don, I read the article. I'm not sure what to make of it. On one hand, you can say that the parents are coddling their kid, all 6'9" of him, and that they have stifled his growth as a man by not teaching him to be tougher. On the other hande, it sounds like the coach is a Bob Knight wannabe who is a real horse's petoot. The school district is adamant in defending the coach, which they need to be to protect themselves from accusations of complicity. The kid is popular. He was elected student council president. The dad is very active in the community.

On the basis of what I've read, I tend not to side with the parents. At the same time, I hope the coach somehow gets the message that his "style" is inappropriate for today's kids. I'll be interested to see how it plays out in the legal system.

It's a bad week for me as far as being able to watch games, I even had to settle for hearing most of the Gator game with bad reception.

Long story but most of it is positive.

As to Tennessee, I watched them earlier this season after Lofton came back and had them going to the final four. But I was afraid of just what happened, their inconsistency caught up with them.

But I think they have the right coach and are going to be a force in the future.

To bad Tom, I was pulling for the Vols.

The Gators have been falling behind in the first half every game. I hope they can get off to faster starts in any more games we may play the rest of this tournement.

Thanks Bill, but I am afraid that I knew we were not there yet. Getting up for a conference rival at home with the "Summitt" full of my favorite drunken hillbillies is one thing. Staying up against a formidable opponent in a strange land is yet another. We will get there, just not there yet. That is why my bracket had Tennessee losing to Ohio State. I played using my head not my heart. Next year, I will have Tennessee at least up to the Final 4.
