Terry, here is a link from today: Coker and Bolden This kid can't seem to stay on the straight and narrow.
Sorry I didn't notice the date. Anyway, rumor is the kid has done it again. I hate it, but I'm not surprised.
Post that rumor TB... complete with link from a believable source. Don't make it some other university message board either. I posted the only facts that I can find. I doubt that there is a clairvoyant at UGA that knows more about this situation than what I posted. Nothing has been reported other than violation of team rules. Why do you so enjoy looking for the negatives? What happens at Tennessee, unless it violates NCAA rules, is the business of Tennessee. As for this member of the Tennessee family, I am ready for him to seek refuge elsewhere.
What part of that did you not understand? You are the one that broke the "news" with one finger pointed at LC and three pointing back at yourself. You tell us (with documented links) what he has done and how many times he has done it. Tailback, were you trained by OBL? You have the exact same tactics. Go lob a grenade somewhere and then run to a hill to watch what happens. Why not try to validate the rumors with facts before spewing them forth upon the masses? One blows up in Rodney's face
Now, TB is extremely fast to point the finger... Let's see how fast he is at apologizing for spreading false rumors. That came out at 8:42 p.m. Eastern time TODAY Now it could be that LC will fail this test. Nobody knows that for sure since the test results have not been published.
Sorry, Tom but your not getting an apology from me. First I stated that the rumors were running rampant that Coker had done it again. The guy has a past of multiple offenses. I was stating that based on his past I wouldn't be surprised if he's in trouble for the same offense.
Exactly as I expected. Whether he fails the test this time or not, you were so fast (as usual) to jump to the conclusion that he had already failed. You are guilty of perpetuating false rumors against someone you never met. The UT program keeping an eye on him and suspending him for some other infraction was the farthest thing from your mind. When it is shown that your alleged assumptions were wrong, you blow it off as just spreading unconfirmed and inaccurate rumors. Innocent until proven guilty, TB. That still is a valid point in every state I know of. Not so in Georgia??? The fact that he has missed these counseling sessions is an indication that he was not taking the counseling seriously. I say "set him free". Oregon can probably use him. That way, he will be free of your criticism since he will no longer be wearing the Orange and White.
This just released at 10:11 a.m. Eastern this morning. report-coker-suspended-missing-counseling-sessions
This just released less than 30 minutes ago from KNS: Coker dismissed from the team LC was sespended and tested due to his irresponsible actions. He was told that he must attend counseling sessions and he didn't. That was why he was suspended. He was dismissed because he failed yet another drug test that was administered because he did not attend the meetings. Is Oregon looking for another good running back?
Tom, thanks for updating this situation. Most people would take this action by Tennessee as being very appropriate. We'll have to see if there's any more comment from Tailback.
Question, When did Fulmer find out about this? He's had two or more no-shows. Was one of these no-shows before the USC game or Bama game? He failed three drug test and the staff just now found out about missing multiple drug counseling sessions? Isn't attending those meetings a condition of being able to play? Did he not attend the meetings this week?
Give it up Tailback, your agenda is obvious. Coker is gone, history, one might think that would be enough.
My bro is a Tenn grad and boy do I love ribbing him about this one....ha ha Seriously though, can this be the final straw in Fulmer's life at Tenn? I can see some Univ people saying that isn't right (how he handled the Coker situation) and really just an extra excuse to get rid of him. He plain out hasn't gotten it done lately and I think time for a change.
It's time for Fulmer to go but that has absolutely nothing to do with this situation. Too long since the last SEC championship has everything to do with it.
I totally agree but could see some with decision power to use this as a smoke screen to dump him. Makes you look better too.....wink wink
I wouldn't think that a ND fan would be "ribbing" anyone this year. I know I didn't in 2005 and we wound up 5-6. Tennessee's success this year isn't much better but still...
I'm not trying to hide anything here. My "agenda" is pointing out how I was right from the begining with this kid. Fulmer should have kicked him off the team when I first brought it up. ndfan Yeah I think this could end up hurting Fulmer. It looks as if he's not in control. Of course nobody will allow blame to be pointed at them with this kid. Like I stated in my last post, Did he miss the meeting before the SC game? We'll never know.
