Have to root for my daughter-in-laws home team.

Since Peyton isn't in it, I will have to go with Cedrick Wilson at Pittsburgh.

So far... defensive battle. Seachickens lead 3-0 half way through the 2nd quarter.

I can hear those Lingerie bowl girls warming up!!!

As usual, Madden is Captain Obvious.

Ward is injured on the sideline.

    Madden says "It's his ankle".

He follows with "Maybe it is his head from the helmet to helmet contact".

Then the next statement, said as only Madden would say, "Well, it is his head or his ankle, or somewhere in between.

    Well, duh!!!

The Stones are terrible, talk about the Over the Hill gang. Where is Ashlee Simpson when you really need her.

    As far as the game.

Seachickens were robbed twice, that was a terrible call on the their TD and Big Ben didn't score, guy from Texas stopped him (DD Lewis).

I'm surprised at how the Steelers are not able to get much pressure on Hasslebeck, Joey Porter and Troy Paloumunouou have been sort of non factors.

Also sequence at the end for Seachickens made no sense, esp why they ran the ball and then let so much time run off the clock trying to change the play at the line on the next down.

I was posting a Half time Show topic at the same time as your last reply, Terry. I agree that it was not their best performance. However, for them to be able to perform at all at their age is phenomenal!

It wasn't an especially great game, there were some bad calls by the officals. I still don't think Big Ben scored, nor did Seattle WR deserve the offensive pass interference call. That call on the Int where they called Hassellbeck for block below the waist was terrible.

The last couple of calls by Seattle at the end of the game were mind numbing I mean I understand throwing to the sideline so they can get out of bounds if nothing is open, but why throw so short. If they caught the ball and ran for TD's there probably wouldn't have been any clock left to even try an onside kick.

Best Play of the Game. Randel-El's TD pass to Hines Ward. That was a beauty.

Neither QB looked even remotely like Tom Brady.

I feel good for the Bus, now he can come back to ND and have a SB Ring like so many other Irish players!! :)
