    Fudge!!!!

Congrats again goes to the buckeye fan! :p

Nice game...Again Tressel outcoached Lloyd in the first half. Thanks to the OSU center for helping us stay in the game. Oh yeah and the ref for the call to help OSU keep the drive going. :D

    Matt,

Thanks, that was quite a shootout! I can never remember such an offensive output by the two teams, especially in one game.

Congrats yet once again, for the fifth time in six years, to the Skybox Buckeye fans. That was a great game between the two best teams in the nation. With a little help from your center, we had our chance to steal this one but your offense was able to close the deal.

BT warned me all year that the Bucks had too many weapons on offense but I was too friggen thick to comprehend fact. Michigan has a great defense but we were unable to put a defensive dent on a team that put on one of the best offensive performances I have ever seen. We lost to a better team with a great head coach and coaching staff. I hope we get another crack at you in the BCS championship game but, if not, I hope you guys run the table.

Very entertaining game. Without doubt the two best team in the nation played this evening. It's amazing how much talent there is on the offensive side of the ball to put up those many points against great defenses. The QBs were outstanding. Congrats to the Bucks.

Bobda, there is no question in my mind that the 2 best teams in the country did play tonite.....it would only be fitting after the challenge you boys laid out tonite that they should play again for the title.....what a great, great game your kids played.

Hart was brilliant....what a magnificent football player he is and the Arrington kid having an opportunity to step up....step up he did. Good for him....God I love that stuff. At the end of the day as you suggested, and as I had hinted at and hoped all year, the Buckeyes have more weapons all over the field than anybody appreciates and a QB with the skills to find them......Troy Smith won the Heisman tonite. There is nothing that Brady or anybody else can do...I truly hope that we see you in Glendale....you deserve it.......Bo would have been proud!

Quite clearly, Mike doesn't play defense! The first half performance was fine an offensive performance against a great, great defense as any I've ever seen.....and I challenge anybody else to tell me of another that is better! This is a great, great offense......too many weapons, too many places.

You guys are sort of like Miami in 2002, too many weapons, unbeatable! :)

But you are much nicer than Gonzo! :)

TOK, you and everybody on here that I have had the privilege of posting back and forth with over these years know me better than that....on any given day, there are many that are worthy. We are privileged to be in a position to compete for the title with whoever is chosen a worthy challenger....and there are several including your Irish.....

I said I would tell you why I was not in Columbus today.....I only had one ticket to play and Momma and the kids - after the Ryder Cup boondoggle - gave me the option of Columbus today or Glendale in January......I rolled the dice and ...I'm heading to Glendale.

God Bless Bo, God Bless Woody and God Bless The Ohio State Buckeyes!

You sir are a Riverboat Gambler, I salute you!! :)

BTW I wasn't taking a shot at you, just an honest observation that the last team that seemed to be so far ahead of the field like OSU is right now, was the Miami Hurricanes back in 2002, what were the Buckeyes 18 pt underdogs?

What a game. I thought when Ohio State scored to make it 28-14 going into halftime that the game was going to be pretty much over. But no, it becomes one of the greatest college games I have seen.

I'm not sure it is fair to Ohio State for a rematch to take place, but I honestly also do not see any teams better than these two.

Personally I am not in favor of a rematch. However, it will be very interesting to see how the remaining games turn out and how the BCS standings end.

Rematch is unfair to Ohio State, it shouldn't happen.

Looks more and more like a rematch. How can it be anything else? I think Michigan is 10 points better on a neutral field. jif

I'm with Jif on the neutral field factor.

NC games are meant to be played on a neutral field and not in Ohio stadium.

A lot of schools travel very well for bowl games Gipper.

I'll bet Iowa last year had about as many Gator fans in Tampa as did UF.

"Home field" bowl games would need to be played in places like Gainesville, Knoxville and Austin for there to be a real advantage although the opposing fans would have equal shots at tickets.

    Don....

<t>Congrats to you and the best team in the country. It's always a great day for me when Michigan goes down and that was as good a football game as the hype.<br/>
    <br/>
Smith also won the big trophy as well so what a day for the Buckeyes. As for the rematch forget it. IMO you guys will play USC after they beat my Irish and UCLA. Now that game on Jan 8th will be a beauty.</t>

Point spreads vs. possible Ohio State NC foes:

    UM - 2 points

    USC - 6 1/2

    UF - 7

    ND - 8 1/2
