    Future historians will never be able to sort this one out. How in the world did the American people place their trust in a guy who had never had a real job? How did they elect a man who has done everything possible to hide his real identity and background? A man who believes in nothing, but himself? The answer is something that we don't want to think about. How did an Austrian street urchin and former male prostitute rise to become dictator or the Germans? How did a Georgian bank robber and anarchist rise to become dictator of the Russians? How did a common Corsican soldier become dictator of the French and nearly take over the entire western world?

    I think we know now. Never say that it "couldn't happen here." It already has. I hope we can dodge this bullet and remember...
