    I guess if the Giants gave him 126M contract he must be, I just wonder when he got so good.

    Does not mean that he is the best... just that he is the best available to a team that must have pitching.

    About half the Giants salary structure is being paid to just two players: Zito and Balco Barry. I confess that I don't understand why they let Schmidt leave for the Dodgers and then turn around and give this guy more money than any pitcher ever. It just doesn't make sense...

    Well I hope he likes the circus. Because that's what the Giants are going to be this year.
