hahaha nope.. That's Mr Roper I just thought it was all the way around fitting. If you guys win 10+ games and have an explosive offense, you'll build a church around that dude. Don't deny it.
He may well work out. I don't think there is anyone in their right mind who would contend that Florida is (despite their record) a top 10 team with even an average offense. I hope this guy works out for you.
Corey, before I knew who they hired, I saw your photo, which understandbly confused me. After I learned the name of the hire, I LOL'd.
Sid, yeah, we're way too serious for 3 months out of the year. We're getting into the 'why so serious?' portion of the schedule.
Corey, what I believe you are trying to say here is that UF is a better team than record would indicate. While I do think Pease had to go.... I also have to acknowledge the continuous stream of major injuries sustained by the Gators.... many early on in the season Like all-time kick returner Andre Debose ( before the season ) and of course the starting Qb Driskel out for the year in the third game and then there was starting RB Matt Jones out early as well and even the 2nd string Qb Murphy out in the latter part of the season. Add in erstwhile top 10 NFL draft pick Dominique Easly out in about the 4th game and you have the makings of a disaster.... which it was. Still.... I doubt UF was better than a 9-3 or 8-4 team even with everyone healthy cause no way they beat FSU and probably would have found some way to squander away two more games at least... such as the one they did squander to Miami. I know Georgia was a better team without injuries and probably would have had a losing season as well except that the Dawgs kept AA Qb Aaron Murray all the way up until the last game. Driskel ain't no Murray but he was a far cry better than a Morningwheg... whatever that is.
