    Mandel's take:

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/stewart_mandel/11/22/bowl.projections/index.html

    I like:

    Wisconsin-Boise
    LSU - OSU
    Bama - MSU
    OU - Aub
    Ok - Ark

Dislike: Stanford being left out of the BCS ( how about Stanford-OSU ?)

Other's opinions.....likes/dislikes of the match-ups and what you hope to see happen?

I Hope for: A Gator win over half-assed U this Saturday and a 3 TD loss by SC to Auburn in the SECCG propelling UF into the nearby Outback Bowl at the RayJay so I can easily attend.

Yeah, assuming they end up with only one loss Stanford certainly deserves a BCS game.
I think that will take care of itself though cuz I don't think Auburn can finish undefeated...

I can assure that author that in his current scenario the Alamo would not automatically jump on Nebraska over A&M.
A&M is responsible for the two biggest attendance marks in that bowl's history, and butts in seats count.

If Auburn loses to Bama but beats SC they have the SEC's auto bid.

If they beat Bama they probably have a BCS bid no matter what but that isn't necessarily the right thing to do over Stanford.

My gut feel is that the Big 10 and PAC 10 will do real well this bowl season and the Big 12 and SEC will fall back a little with the ACC slacking as usual..
