....that the NCAA can hold players and teams hostage like Georgia's AJ Green who is quoted as follows:

"Green says he's never been to Miami."

Didn't play last week and now Ga doesn't even know if he can play this week?

WTF.....what if they can't prove he has been to Miami?

That is a huge heaping of B/S the NCAA is dishing out here.

Well I asked Marian Jones, Floyd Landis, and Rafael Palmero about it and they all said, "if he says he wasn't there....he wasn't there."

The NCAA isn't holding him out...Georgia is.

Sure, playing him would risk repercussions but if they were confident that he had no improper contact with agents, they could play him.

What would you have the NCAA do...not notify Georgia of the investigation and therefore not give them the chance to make their own decision?

They certainly owe this young man as rapid a resolution as is possible...what a travesty if it is all false.

I don't see how he could be completely trusted in that way.

Who knows for certain but the kid himself?

If he doesn't play vs. SouCar....and Georgia's offense is sluggish and loses by less than a TD....then I would say he had better be guilty as charged or the NCAA has that loss by Ga on their hands.

I heard this isn't about the party, it's about selling a jersey to an agent for $1000. That's the rumor anyway.

The jersey is what they have now, but the party is still under investigation.

    Here you go:

    Wow.....out for SC and Arkansas.

That could have a major bearing on the SEC East.

So MCG where's your apology to the NCAA? :)

I find the jersey think kind of ironic as a Georgia sports announcer had been accusing a Florida player for selling a jersey.
