It looks like a three team race between Georgia, SC and Fla with the Dawgs having a very decided schedule advantage.

They only play Ole Miss and Aub from the West and both of those teams look pretty bad right now.

Here is South Carolina's mid-season schedule:

    Sep. 22 Missouri
    Sep. 29 at Kentucky
    Oct. 6 Georgia
    Oct. 13 at LSU
    Oct. 20 at Florida
    Oct. 27 Tennessee

That's one hell of a run and if they survive that with only one loss other than to Ga or Fla they will win the East.

I think Florida will have to beat at least SC and Ga or LSU and Ga to have any shot at the East Title.

I could see the Gators losing to SC but SC could lose twice and Georgia has a very small chance of losing twice if the Gators don't beat em.

Does Spurrier have a capable backup QB? His starter seems to be pretty banged up.

A kid named named Thompson I believe who did look capable last week.

Spurrier does have a nasty defense and a great running back to help him out.

LSU's defense is going to beat them like they stole something and then win the game on 3 fake punts. Miles ball y'all.

It's still Steve Spurrier and the OBC can still devise an offensive gameplan to keep his teams in games in which they might be overmatched.

A way overmatched 1992 UF team in the first SEC Title game in Birmingham gave eventual national champion Alabama all they could handle in an ESPN Classic because of his scheming on offense.
