SEC Announces SEC Network

    I'm not sure of the final effect of this. I am primarily a football fan, and as of now I get to watch almost all of the Alabama games on tv. I would like to see more Alabama baseball, softball, baskeball and gymnastics if possible. We will see, I guess. I want to be able to see more but I don't want tv to dictate schedules, rivalries, etc.

    I guess this negates the PPV games then. Since I've lived here, I always thought it was funny that Alabama/Auburn were pulling in TV money, conference money, and then their additional PPV plans for games no one wanted to televise.. (the Georgia Southern type games)..

    So, is this going to end that stuff?

    I believe it will Corey. At least I think the SEC Network will have first choice. The way I understand all the teams in the conference gave up their right to exclusive rights to televise events.

    I here this will eventually amount to about $10 million per team per year.
