Notre Dame has Arkansas on the early schedule and Texas has LSU. I've wondered if the SEC goes to conference only if Texas would agree to come to Notre Dame to take the place of Arkansas and fill the slot that the loss of the LSU game. The were both scheduled for Sept 12, so in theory it would be an easy change. But if the B12/ACC and SEC decide to play one another then it's likely that Texas/LSU will come off and maybe the Irish will be included with the ACC and Arkansas will still come to South Bend.

I think I read that the Big 12 denied this.

However games like Texas - Texas A&M, Florida-FSU, S. Carolina - Clemson sure make sense and perhaps more sense than Oklahoma - W. Virginia.

    We will see.
