I'm a little unclear. What if we all pick a different number of teams, how would you determine a winner. And we could close the topic and sticky it to the top until the season is over if you like. And if you want to make a friendly wager about the Gators - Tennessee game I would be willing!
You can choose any teams and any amount you'd like Gator Bill. The points tie breaker is the real difference. I will do the math at the end of the season. How do you feel about listing Miami's schedule and your prediction of their season? I don't think any sticky is necessary, I'll track this and see just who is really interested. Re: The Bet. No ill wishes to your Gators, I just got a feeling about that bad blood matchup. Don't worry though, if you look at my feelings record on this board, I'm .095 for my career.
I'll have to think about that Miami thing, I don't have a real feel for them and probably have a negative bias because of an obnoxious fan I know. I'm going to be going to the Gator - Tennessee game. I've attended probably 10 of the Gator - Vol games since 1990 and we only lost one so I like our odds. I'll pick some teams and post later.
AJ, I'm giving this some thought. Bill asked you something that I am curious about but I didn't see an answer. I'll rephrase it to what I am confused about. Is there an advantage to picking more teams? If I have the same percentage of wins with one team that Bill has with four, which one of us places ahead of the other?
Since we can't all have the same team (not because we can't, we just don't  ) let's do it this way. You can have up to three (3) teams for the contest. Scratch that. Everyone picks three teams for their choices. I'll do the math on it later. I'm sure Bill will volunteer to help. Don't forget to put the seasons points down. Don't get to engineery on me about this TOM!! I'tll be fun. NOW MAKE YOUR PICKS LADIES!!
So I can pick 3 teams, and I can pick any 3 teams even duplicating if I want teams that other players have picked? For example you have Notre Dame, and Naturally I want to pick ND as well, is that OK? Terry
if the rest of us have to type out the schedule I think Sid should as well since there is a possiblity of him mistyping a teams name and that would of course be a disqualification. Well unless spelling doesn't count.
