It sounds like grades are going to be a big issue.... http://www.miamiherald.com/2013/02/20/v-print/3243197/miami-hurricanes-sign-tight-end.html
Ralph, he is a Houston area kid and very talented. He is also a talented basketball player. But it is highly unlikely that he will qualify to play Div1 without some miracle. You guys must be willing to take a chance that he will some how get a qualifying SAT score. Maybe he will, but that's why TAMU didn't sign him, they were tight for spots and didn't want to risk giving out a LOI on signing day for a guy who wouldn't be able to report in August.
Ralph, Terry pretty much covered it. The kid is an animal and we dearly would have loved to have him, but qualifying is a huge long shot, so we couldn't waste the slot.
What's it matter either way?....at the "U" they've produced dozens of mental giants such as Sapp, Lewis, and the closet pooper guy... And at TA&Mu, you can be Big Man on Campus and your only obligation is to show up once a month... http://bleacherreport.com/tb/d9KfP?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=college-football
