IU giving the Stripeheads all they can handle in the Big House 26-21 Hoosiers late 3rd qtr - M defense very suspect unless IU is a helluva lot better than I think.

Wisky hammering Sparty behind that big oline and bruising running back 31-17.

Cincy looking good taking care of Fresno - they might be for real.

Cincy just might be for real. That Fresno team went toe to toe with Wiscy. Im a bit shocked at Wiscy slapping around Mich State.

Michigan... god damned Michigan.. I probably have 15 points on that game.

Florida State just committed a late hit against USF after a big gain.. If USF gets another score it will make it a 2 score game late in the 4th...

M takes the lead midway 4th....they need to play defense if they're gonna seal the deal.

Fresno hanging tough....Cincy clinging to the lead.

Wisky is just playing power football pounding away and really wearing down the Sparty defense.

I thought UNC would surpirse Tech, but that ain't happenin

LSU - Miss St is surprisingly - at least to me - turnig into a scrap.

IU's coach just lost his mind on the sideline and rightfully so.

Miss State pissed away a HUGE upset chance from the goal line against Miss State. That Mullen calls a odd game.

Lousy call in the M game.....IU deserved better. Coach had his kids ready to play....too bad.

I have a feeling an official protest is on it's way to the Big Ten office.

I am confused by that failure of reversal.

wow...can't believe how the Ducks are blowing up CAL. This will hurt Jahvid Best's chances at the Heisman, and JCory Harris and Miami will also take a tumble barring a big comeback.

Texas Longhorns are putting a huge whupass on UTEP 47-7. I wonder how long Mack will let McCoy play before going to backup Garrett Gilbert who is the resident freshman phenom at UT.

Weather is supposed to be bad for the ND/Purdue game ...I don't like that!

Is it just me or does Alabama run out of the Pistol some of the time?

Buckeye D looking very good.....working on their 2nd straight shutout. Torrential downpour much of the first half didn't hurt either.....young offense still inconsistent needs to grow up to be a good, good football team.

Va Tech doing a number on the Canes....could say alot about those Huskers.....

Buckeyes seal the deal -v- Illini 30-0. Two consecutive shut outs. I like the sound of that.....Buckeyes - Illini always chippy - cheap shot late by one of my Buckeyes likely to and justifiably so draw the ire of his coach and the league. Captain too....he should know better.

Weather in Columbus was nasty for a good part of the game.....perhaps the same for ND.

    Dawgs strike first.....7-0.

Pretty good shootout developing between Texas Tech and Houston it was a low scoring 1st half but looks like the 4th qtr could make up for it in fireworks.

    Terry,

Yes, Alabama has run the Pistol formation a few times this year.

If you didn't watch the end of the Houston/Texas Tech game you missed a doozy. Tech went for it on 4th and goal from the 1 and didn't make it, they were leading 28-23 at the time and a FG would have put them up 8 points. Houston drove the field 99yds for the win. Can't believe Leach didn't take the points, or that Houston actually stopped them 4 times from inside the 7yd line.

    The BCS buster conversation:

Boise State, Houston and TCU. Boise State and Houston both have great wins over BCS conference teams, TCU has beaten a lousy Virgina team and a medicore Clemson team. But Boise has the top 10 standing and they are on track to go undefeated and if the teams ahead of them lose they could end up in the Championship game, worthy or not.

Also I'm not sure that Alabama isn't the best team right now. Thier QB play this year is much better than John Parker Wilson.

Iowa just absolutely destroyed the Nits upfront.....didn't see that one coming at all. The Hawks dominated the line of scrimmage from the first quarter on.....still not sure if Iowa is that strong on the defensive front or the Nits are that weak......the next few weeks should tell us.
