Are unbelievable, some of the best teamwork I have ever seen and they just don't miss many of their three point shots. Miami has no answer for them this year. On Sunday I expect they win again and will well deserving champions.
Great Team, with great leadership and a great coach. This team has been really the best franchise in sports since the late '90's. Bet nobody can even name the owner without going to Google.
Terry, the Spurs don't make the finals several times in a row, but they are always in the running, and I have to admit the West is far more difficult to advance to the finals. But I am am impressed with there whole team and approach to the game. I would not be shocked if the Heat lost a series to most any team that could be in the finals with them because you have to be good to get there. But I am shocked with the ease the Spurs won these last two games. I hope Miami wins Sunday and extends the series, but I don't see that happening with the way the Spurs are playing.
Congratulations to the Spurs. That was an amazing game on their part tonight and they are one of the most dominant teams I have seen in quite a while. A deserving champion in all respects.
They were down quite a bit in the 1st qtr, then just turned it on and won going away. One of the most dominating performances I can think of in a NBA Finals. It'll be interesting to see what Duncan does now that he's got another title and what Miami does to bolster the team.
I agree Terry. Terry, the big three in Miami all have clauses in their contracts that they can opt out after this season. I think a lot of people expect LeBron to do that. One rumor is that they all three opt out and accept smaller contracts and that Melo signs with Miami also for smaller money. LeBron was evasive after the game last night and I am glad, the Spurs need their time to celebrate without other news being more important. I imagine we hear something from the LeBron camp soon. As much as the Spurs dominated in this series Miami still made 4 straight title games which only a few teams have accomplished.
I give Lebron and the Heat their due, they were a great team and after the game you could see Lebron going up to all the Spurs and giving them congratulations. As far as Carmello goes, he'll need an attitude change to be the 4th "star" on the Heat. He's not exactly an unselfish player.
If Labron moves, I can't help thinking it will be the Lakers. Seems that they always end up with the top players like Kareem or Shaq.
If Labron moves, I would think that spells the end for the Heat. Bosh probably can get more money by opting out and moving on to some place else. Wade seems to be injury prone and might have a hard time getting somebody to give him a big contract.
Wade is simply past his prime and won't draw the big money after his contract runs out. And you are right, if LeBron moves on the Heat just aren't going to be that good. I think gipper has a point about the Lakers.
