I hope Phil is smiling like this on Sunday. He's never been worth much as a Cup player (has he?) maybe this year will be different.

He's been abysmal of late.....the last two matches he's 1.5 - 7.5! Are you kidding me? With El Tigre on the sidelines, he's gonna have to sack up if we have even half a chance.....

I'm not optimistic he can do that....

I think Phil is going lead the US to victory. I'm just glad that Monty isn't on this team. He's been incredible in these matches.

I know that we're the hosts but is there any real pressure on this American team? The Euros are heavily favored, just like we usually are. We've lost our best player and many of our team haven't won in months. Everything should be pointing to a big Euro win. With all that, I think we have a good chance. No expectations, no pressure, no time like now to win.

Great Stuff.....crowd is going crazy on the first tee....the start was as thrilling as any sporting event I've ever attended. Anywhere....USA, USA,USA! As I watched two years ago, even Tiger was not immune from opening tee jitters as we all watched him begin his round on the first tee box with a screaming, quaking duck hook into the nearest pond.....a swing anybody on this board could appreciate!

Go USA....I love our captain, I think these guys will play well for him. Anxious to see some of the youngsters step up... Lefty striped his tee ball, let's see what young Kim can do with it....he's gonna need to do somoething, Karlsenn just hit his approach stiff....

I do love the Ryder Cup. I think it one of great events in all of sport....

1st time since kiawa that we've had the morning lead. Kim needs to stop worrying about Phil and start making shots himself. I'm getttin' sick of Phil's "Wo is me" look. He's the highest ranked golfer in the field and he needs to start acting like it. Perry suffers another mental lapse on the last 3 holes at Vahalla. J.B. and Boo should be a great time for the p.m. 4-Ball. USA USA USA USA!!!

Ok, Phil pill and Kim are now 3 down. I know, I know, they can come back, but what I said in the above post remains true. Kim needs to start acting like a Champ and Phil needs to remember that he is one...and then STOP FRICKIN THINKING AFTER THAT PHIL. Those 6 inches between your listening devices is YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM!

I'm gonna go have another beer now.

Great start by our guys....I felt terrible for Kenny, but I promise you he will step up at some point and deliver infront of the home folks....I LOVE the pairing of JB and Boo....talk about shock value....those poor Euro boys are reaching for 5 iron when JB and Boo are talking about which wedge to hit....I thought these guys would play well for Zinger....

Justin making the most of his opportunity...he's never won a Ryder Cup pointe before this year...inspite of the crucial putt he made years ago.

Anthony Kim, a Texas Traitor...went north to Trailerhoma...but his play today may have redeemed him..slightly. :)

It was really fun though to watch Boo Weekly and no doubt Kenny Perry will get the Advil Award!! :)
