Interesting list. Florida is at the same place, 4. I don't think we have had any problems since Galen Hall resigned during the 89 season. I can't state that as a fact but believe it is true.
Well Devaney was Famous for saying that he wanted to win enough to warrant an investigation. 'Ol JoPa runs a tight ship huh?
whoa whoa whoa Boston College had a gambling scandal in which kids may well have been throwing games... yet they are on the 'clean list' I knew of Army's cheating scandal, what was Navy's infraction? What were Notre Dame's 3 major infractions? The only one I can recall in my lifetime is the Kim Dunbar 'Blow job for Tyson Tickets' scandal... Which again Kentucky... let me just say.. kiss my ass for that.. Whew, I feel better But seriously, what was Navy's and ND's other 2?
It's not really about who's "cleaner" than who... It's about who didn't get caught, or the NCAA's idea of enforcement at the time. I must say that SMU's attitude at the time they were busted in the 80's was amazing. It was like "Yep... we're not playing by the rules... so?"
The list, I believe, includes major violations in any sport and goes back to 1953. Michigan's violations were in baseball and basketball although that list might grow... Here is a link to a search engine re the NCAA database for major violations. https://web1.ncaa.org/LSDBi/exec/miSearch
