...Where they'll play football, nobody knows.

The Domicone kid thing bothers me. Once again a coach does his research and finds a kid nobody knows about, gives him an offer when he's planning on going to a D3 school, he hits the radar and the pirates move in. Such is life. I think it's pretty shitty to have a 24 hour change of heart. I understand he's a Buckeye fan, but they didn't know he existed till we did. Better check yourself kid. If I am fortunate to have my children be a sought after product in the college recruiting hunt, you can bet I'll be at the epicenter from start to finish and will make sure they do all their homework, visits, advice seeking and soul searching before they say yes. Besides, they do have until signing day don't they?

BTW, the kid who flaked on his commit from NU to CU...

    Josh Williams is back in

Josh Williams, the defensive end from Denton, Texas, is back on the Nebraska commitment list.

Williams, 6-feet-4 and 220 pounds, was originally committed to NU before switching to Colorado after the coaching change.

He visited Lincoln over the weekend on an unofficial visit and was impressed by the coaching staff's passion.

"I mean, I felt real good about the new staff and new guys," Williams told the Journal Star. "They have a lot of energy flowing through that place."

Williams told Bo Pelini, Ted Gilmore and Mike Ekeler of his commitment on Sunday. With him back in the fold and Collins Okafor announcing he's staying with Nebraska, the Huskers currently have 18 known commitments.

Williams had offers from Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Kentucky and Missouri.

About Pelini, Williams said: "He’s a wild guy. He’s impressive. He sounds like he knows what he’s doing."

Williams also said he's not going to be changing on this commitment.

"Man, it was really tough to go through that," he said of Nebraska's coaching change. "You're thinking it was all over with, that you're done and you knew where to go. Then the coaching staff gets fired."

We'll stay in normal breathing patterns until signing day if that's OK with you Josh..

The Aggie's recruiting is getting interesting, especially at running back.

Just heard we picked up ESPN #57 Cyrus Gray, to add to #91 Derrick Hall.

Just tonight we heard rumor that #46 Aundre Dean is leaning our way too.

Geez, we need TE's and defensive lineman! Anybody wanna trade??

Gray's recruitment has been very strange to me. He supposedly liked ND but was deterred by our depth at RB. But with what you have comming back and if you are picking up all those guys then he's not really better off. I think a lot of people thought he would go to UF, but something didn't click on his visit I guess.

You know these kids don't fear competition coming in, it's the incumbants that worry them.

Right now that is Jr-to-be Mike Goodson. I seriously doubt Lane will remain at TB, regardless of what he wants. If he loses 50 lbs, and works hard he can make a living as a FB in the league.

Anyway, there is plenty of room for a #2 RB to get on the field, and I think we're telling Gray we'll use him as a slot back a lot to get the ball to him in space.

50lbs off of Javorski? You think he's another Jamaar Toombs? Javorski seemed like a Ron Dayne type, maybe he needed to lose a little weight but 50lbs? If he is moving to FB why lose the weight? BTW what is his weight...I thought he was in the 270lb category.

He was 295 for the Alamo bowl.

I'm not suggesting he leaves early, but he's not going to make it in the NFL as a 250lb TB. He might make it as a FB. He has GREAT hands, so he'd be a threat to catch the ball...
