    *T 1st = BUCK T = $1,185,753 (* = Won in playoff)

    T 1st = STU = $1,185,753

    3rd = DOC = $1,144,068 (Doc had all 5 make the cut!)

    4th = GEORGE = $816,174

    5TH = GIPPER = $758,756

    6TH = PJMIII = $684,504

    7TH = AJ = $632,919

    8TH = WENDY = $74,252

    * Playoff = Stu and Terry had exactly the same picks with the exception of having Furyk and Mickelson flip flopped in their choices. I declare Terry the winner based on Furyk's final Rd 70 compared to Phil's final Rd 74. Hope there is no controversy in the decision. We can always meet in St. Louis for a putt off!!!! :lol:

    BTW, What a meltdown by Phil. Once again he let's his head get in the way of good, smart shot making, vice his need for a super shot. His caddie "Bones" is just as much to blame for the collapse. If I was his caddie, especially after watching the last 3 drives, I would have "Tin Cupped" that driver and handed him the 3 or 4 wood and told him to put it in play. I wonder if he gets any sleep the next few days?

    Hey for stupid shot of the day by Phil how about that explosion shot with a fairway wood from the deep rough? Hit it about a foot and then took the proper club and put the next one on the green. What was he thinking????

    That's where his caddie failed him again. Sometimes these guys kowtow to their players to the point where their afraid to say anything negative to them in fear of setting them off on a negative thought process. That's what I liked about Herman, Trevino's caddie back in the 70's and 80's. That guy was constantly on Super Mex's ass about club selection and shot thought's. Bones had the obligation to tell his guy to put the driver back and play safe. Worst case scenarion would have been a playoff. IMHO.

    Mickelson is gambler and this time it cost him. Guys like him don't play safe shots. If there's no "juice" then he's not interested.

    Husker,

    I hear what you're saying about Bones.....input from subordinates is a great and necessary thing, but at the end of the day, it's Lefty's decision.
    He screwed up....big time.

    Why the surprise? Mickelson is an ASU Sun Gerbil, after all. :twisted:
