Future of American medicine? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/9644287/NHS-millions-for-controversial-care-pathway.html
It's all about money, although I do question the ethics of giving a bonus to hospitals for putting patients on the "Liverpool Care Plan". That just doesn't seem right. We all know that the bulk of the money spent on your health during your lifetime will be spent in the final year(s) of your life. Heroic surgeries, experimental cancer regimens, doing all sorts of things to prolong life. Not many families feel very good about pulling the plug or stepping back and letting a loved one die. It sort of brings back the "death panels" that were talked about during the run up to passing Obamacare.
 Don't forget all the new taxes and forms... http://www.newsmax.com/newswidget/Obamacare-Tax-Form-IRS/2012/10/31/id/462205?promo_code=F6A9-1&utm_source=triblive&utm_medium=nmwidget&utm_campaign=widgetphase1
