Not so much that they didn't vote for McCain, but that they put Obama on the ticket instead of Hillary.

One democrat on InsideTexas started a thread with this.
InsideTexas Political Board has been dominated by Liberals for awhile now and they are starting to have buyers remorse with Obama.

Another big Obama supporter indicated that while he doesn't regret his vote....
Unless things change for Obama soon, you have to wonder if 2010 is going to look a lot like the election of 1994 where the Republicans rebounded and got in a position to provide effective opposition to Clinton.

whoa whoa whoa... how did the GOP stab him in the back?

It was the Dems who screamed for 'bi-partisan efforts' and then jammed Bush in the back. Obama never had any such promise. In fact, the battle lines were quite clear. Obama and the Dems threw down the gauntlet when they spent 8 years bitching about demanding campaign finance reform, before finally getting the GOP to put up the man who would agree to those terms.. and what was the first thing the Dems did? They refused to participate in the program that they spent 8 years screaming for...So I resent that statement in the last quote....

Lastly, you may be surprised by this but I don't 'hate' Reid or Dodd...or even Boxer or Franks... They are simply people who view their politics differently than I view mine. I think Reid is a liar, as is Franks. I think Obama's problem is Rahm. That's a guy I would punch in the face. I believe he's a bad human being.

The biggest liberal on that board has concluded that Rahm needs to go, that his staff in general has let him down and that is the reason he seems so uniformed when he is speaking off the cuff in the press conferences and Town Halls.

I know several people who voted for him that would like a do-over. He was mainly elected as an "anti-Bush" candidate, not because of any particular qualities that he possessed.

The fact that he has zero experience and no poiltical capital to expend seems surprising to some.

    Face it. America goofed.

As I posted months ago we've seen a replay of the Nixon-Carter succession. We all know Nixon's problems and Bush's economic disaster made a swing to the left inevitable. But just a Carter proved how unpopular weak, liberal presidents are, Obama is replaying that scenerio. The honeymoon is over and some who voted for him (actually anyone running against the screwed up Republicans) now want a divorce.

Just how arrogant are these congress idiots? Two weeks ago we're reading about their new private jet fleet. Now they're prying into what healty execs make? Hey somebody tell them they haven't bailed out that industry yet, and they haven't nationalized it yet. What they pay their employees is none of their fu**ing business.

How arrogant? Well, they call town meetings and then shout down anyone who disagrees with names and catcalls.
