So how does everyone feel about their recruiting class?

Notre Dame, Georgia, Alabama, LSU and Miami are the top 5 according to Scout right now.

I doubt Miami stays in the top 5, like I said awhile back they are losing some of their top early recruits. Patrick Johnson a 5 * corner back recruit withdrew his commitment to Miami and committed to LSU Sat at one of the all star games. Another one Lerentee McCray a linebacker decommitted and hasn't committed to anyone yet, some think he will be a Gator.

The Gators have 16 commits and are ranked 12 & 17 in Rivals and Scout. Most Gators expect 5 or more additional commits and they should mostly be 4 and 5 star recruits. A lot of our fans expect to be ranked in the top 5, I'm thinking top 10.

One of the strengths of Gator recruiting under Meyer is getting our recruits qualified and in school. The last three years they have all made it to Gainesville. So far this year a couple of them look questionable.

    How about your team.

Obviously ND fans are happy with the class as it is now, it would have been very nice to have been able to hold on to Omar Hunter but ce la vie as the old folks say... :)

It's possible that we are done or we could add a player or two. We have some guys comming in for visits but they are long shots most likely.

Terry, if you guys don't get any more players you have a top notch class already.

I am pretty happy. The only problem I see is too many WR's and not enough OL's and DL's. We got one of the best OL in Tyler Love but I think that that is where our emphasis should have been. I have always been in favor of going for what you need not just stars.

    Gator Bill,

We will have a relatively small class, probably 18. We have some good ones for sure and Coach Tressel has always been very selective.

We only have two seniors graduating on each side of the ball. We will lose some juniors to the NFL, but how many is unclear at this point.

I imagine we will grade out in a top 10 class.
