    How many scholarship players does your team have this year?

    Irish are playing with 10, and I think the NCAA allows 12. Now in basketball it's hard to play more than 8 or 9 guys in most games and certainly 10 is a lot even in blowouts. So having 10 isn't all that bad I guess.

    I was just wondering if that was fairly common across the board in college basketball.

    I think in Womens basketball they are allowed 14 or 15 scholarships. I know for sure that the Irish have never had even as many as 12 girls on scholarship. This year the entire team, including walkons is only 10 girls.

    I believe we have 11 , with a self imposed penalty of two, due to recent NCAA investigation.

    Matta has five incoming recruits, and four seniors leaving this year.

    We have 12 on scholarship, 4 of which are seniors. Our total roster is 17 with 5 walk-ons.
