I have read the following future Ga schedule and I see the Dawg's AD has made a statement that Ga can and will play Fla in Jax and home and home games annually with Ga Tech AND some other OOC home and home games with Div 1 opponents. Now...still UF's schedule is a tough one year in and year out and in the years we add Miami to go with FSU as an OOC foe we are all set but in other years why can't Foley get with the Ga program and get some national flavor on the schedule? If Georgia can do it so can Florida. I can't deflect the "won't travel" criticisms on this board in the future when Ga starts in on this kind of OOC travel. 2007: @ Georgia Tech Oklahoma State 2008: Georgia Tech @ Arizona State 2009: @ Georgia Tech Arizona State @ Oklahoma State 2010: Georgia Tech @ Colorado 2011: @ Georgia Tech Louisville 2012: Georgia Tech @ Louisville 2013: @ Georgia Tech @ Clemson 2014: Georgia Tech Clemson 2015: @ Georgia Tech @ Oregon 2016: Georgia Tech Oregon I do note the addition of the 12th game has made this possible for the Dawgs and I hope to see Fla move in this direction as well. If not....the S/B missives will be frequent and deserved IMHO.
Tom, I have always called it like it is unlike some others. As I stated...the addition of the annual 12th game makes this travel possible for Georgia NOW and in the future and UF should get on board. With the 11 game schedule as existed before and since SEC expansion it was a different story and economically undesirable for Florida and Georgia to do this. In any event the one thing that put UF in the BCS title game this season was it's SCHEDULE.....full of bowl teams more than any other team's schedule. I still think though that with 12 games UF should step out more on the national stage and I hope Foley makes an effort.
