Most of them aren't really a big deal one way or the other. But there are a couple that are significant'.

    1. Current rule is that a OL must be engaged with a defensive player if he is more than 3 yds downfield on a pass play. They want to change that to 1 yard...really? They don't even enforce the current rule. And how are they going to really know if the guy is 1 yd or 1.5 yds down field. Just enforce the current rule.

    2. This one is significant. The calling of a timeout by the HC on the sideline is reviewable. I know I have seen times when the play clock is running out and the coach is screaming or running down the sideline signaling for a TO. So you know that sometimes they don't get it in on time but the officals give them the benefit of the doubt. This could be interesting.

    3. Using technology on the sidelines...NFL already does it, not sure why they even need to study it...let it happen.

    4. I don't like this one...15 yd unsportsmanlike for pulling players off a pile up. These kids have been doing this since pee wee and can do it the NFL. I get it that sometimes this leads to some pushing and shoving..big deal.

    5. Making it reviewable whether or not a player has blocked on an onside kick before it travels 10yds. I like this rule, needs to be implemented.

Agreed. 1 and 2 are going to come up in a game (probably SEC or Pac12) and we'll all wonder WTF is going on.. just watch.

The pulling from the pile rule is stupid. This is just going to lead to bigger, more violent piles. The guys have to do something now.

Wait a minute? Are they going to stop the game to review whether a coach called a timeout in time?

Help me with this one. Closing minutes of a half and team A is driving and has just gotten to the opponents 5 with 9 sec. to go in the half. A defensive players helmet some how comes off.
    The half is over???

That sounds about right. Delay the game for a couple of minutes to review whether a timeout should be allowed or not. That'll show them.
