It looks like everybody is going to different games this year, so I give up. Maybe we can all get together next year... Mrs. JO'Co and I really don't feel like traveling thousands of miles to watch Air Force or Duke if nobody else is going to be there; especially with the Irish coming here. So what I've decided to do is hold the fort here. I've obtained two good tickets to the Notre Dame-UCLA game and we'll be sitting in the UCLA Alumni Section. Since I once (1972) sat in the USC student section and rooted for UCLA, this should balance my account with the Lord... BTW- since we're going to have people at so many different games, there should be some interesting reports. Let's all plan for a bigger turnout at next year's meeting, since it will be the first one in two years...
Mary and I may be going to the UCLA game. One of my daughter Meg's best friends is married to a young doctor who is the Bruin team physician. Commish might also be out there.
I got almost shut out in the alumni lottery except for the Duke game, to which I hope to take my two oldest grandsons. I may be able to use my son's Monogram Club tix for MSU and BC. I won't know for a while.

re: "Mary and I may be going to the UCLA game. One of my daughter Meg's best friends is married to a young doctor who is the Bruin team physician. Commish might also be out there." Let me know, Mike. Maybe we can put together a tailgate here... re: sitting with UCLA Screw them! I sat in the UCLA section at Notre Dame last year! I was right behind the band inspecting their cheerleaders. If they want to sell their tickets, then I'm sure I'm not the only Irishman who'll happily take them away...
Hi Diane, October 6th is the night of our town's annual Oktoberfest. It's small town big fun, and just a few miles west of the Rose Bowl. We won't be able to make the game because we're having people over, but you're all certainly welcome to join us afterward.
We certainly appreciatte the interest in having "The Gonz" and perhaps one of my offshoot sons join the gang at an ND game of some sorts. Maybe next year check out our website www.realestateworks.net The Gonz
G. Very impressive site! You should send a link to that morning disc jockey that used to say you sold T shirts on a corner in Orlando!! Forgot his name..I think he was from Pitt or Harrisburg? jif
 thank you......I probably love this country more than the majority of people who were born here and have not known or can appreciate the wonderful freedoms and opportunities available to anyone who works hard and keeps their nose clean. It was all done from scratch with a 25K loan my father gave me when I was in my 20's, married and with two kids. Just one in millions of similar stories....but I am proud and humbled by the experience.
