    I know that this will just launch another discussion of Maurice Clarett from my friend Gonz, but I think that I will risk that because I think that this is very interesting...

    The call of pass interference that Terry Porter made against Miami's Glenn Sharpe defending Chris Gamble during the first overtime of the BCS Championship in 2003 has been named by Referee Magazine as one of the best calls in refereeing history.

    That game was on ESPN Classic not too long ago and I watched the whole thing, I don't remember what I thought at the time but when I watched it again I think it was the right call. But I doubt if you can convince any Miami fans of that, understandably.
