We'll have to see what happens. Texas Tech and Alabama still have real games to play and Penn State should be on cruise control. Oh yeah, USC, OU and UF may jump everyone base on winning margins.

It'll be interesting to see if Texas Tech jumps up to #3 in the polls or will the Gators or Sooners move to #3.

    My top 5

    1. Bama
    2. Penn State
    3. Texas Tech
    4. Texas
    5. Oklahoma

Terry, I'll agree with your top 3 but think USC and Florida may challenge for the top 5 also.

Oklahoma, Texas, Florida and USC will be close together and may get closer as the next few weeks go by.

Also I think that whether it's fair or not and based on an earlier loss is better than one later that Oklahoma will be ranked higher than Texas.

    So here's my top 4

    Alabama
    Penn State
    Texas Tech
    Oklahoma
    USC

With Florida and Texas in hot pursuit.

Well we are heading back to North Carolina.

Well AP is out and their top 5 is ..

    1. Bama
    2. Texas Tech
    3. Penn State
    4. Fla
    5. Texas

Not that it makes any difference. But Texas has 2 wins over teams in the top 10 and lost only to the #2 team on the road in a very close game. Fla has no wins over a team still in the top 10 and lost to a unranked team at home. But who said polls ever made sense!!

The one that counts is the BCS poll.

    1. Alabama
    2. Texas Tech
    3. Penn State
    4. Texas
    5. Florida

The computers shake up the rankings. Just going by Coaches and Harris Interactive it would be

    1. Alabama
    2. Penn State
    3. Texas Tech
    4. Oaklahoma
    5. Florida
    6. Texas

Texas Tech and Texas benefit from the computers.

The Gators have improved in the computer polls but still lag Texas by a lot.
