Elizabeth Warren: I Demand Scott Brown Release More Tax Returns! Wait, He Released Six Years And I Will Only Give Four Years Worth? Forget What I Said…
    [IMG]
    Amateur hour.

    Via Boston Globe:

Elizabeth Warren demanded Monday that Senator Scott Brown release more of his tax returns. The only problem was that Brown, her Republican rival, had already released six years of tax returns while Warren has refused to release more than four years of her filings.

Asked to reconcile that apparent conflict, Warren backed off her demand, saying today that six years was enough. She did not, however, offer to release any more of her IRS filings.

Both candidates were asked by the Globe in April to release six years of tax returns, a common request to check for conflicts of interest, and contradictions between a candidate’s policy pronouncements and personal financial practices.

Brown agreed to allow reporters into his campaign office to inspect all six years of documents. Warren would only agree to allow reporters to inspect four years worth of returns, releasing some documents outright and allowing reporters into her office to review the supporting documents covering the same period.

The Brown campaign said at the time that Warren must have something to hide, a similar charge Democrats are now relentlessly leveling against Mitt Romney, who has only released his 2010 returns along with an estimate for 2011.

She is just lame. Between the fake Indian deal and now this embarassment, I don't know how anybody can vote for her...but a lot will I have no doubt.

She's lame all right, and I think the odds favor her winning in a close election. However you would think that Massachusetts democrats could find better candidate to put up than the last two.

But it's ok with me, maybe Brown can keep squeaking it out.

Elizabeth Warren: “Ted Kennedy Changed My Life . . . I Think Of Him Every Single Day”…
    [IMG]
What exactly does she think about? The killing? The drunken orgies? The waitress sandwiches?

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Harvard professor Elizabeth Warren invoked the memory of the late Sen. Edward Kennedy (Mass.) in remarks to the Bay State’s Democratic delegation here, a day before she is set to take the stage at the Democratic National Convention.

Warren, hoping to unseat Republican Sen. Scott Brown, recalled a long meeting she had with Kennedy in the mid 1990s about bankruptcy and its effect on working families. She talked about Kennedy’s decade of work against a bankruptcy reform bill that she said wasn’t in the interest of working people.

“Ted Kennedy changed my life,” Warren said. “He changed how I understood what it is that a public servant does. And I think of him in this race every single day. And I come to this convention and I think of him every single hour.”

I’d Rather Have Ted Kennedy Back in “His Seat” Than Elizabeth Warren

    Dead or Alive

    Investors Daily

    -she’s beneath even the sleaziest.

-fraudulently claiming minority Indian status without any documented ancestry

-busted practicing law in Massachusetts without a state license.

-hired herself out as a legal gun for LTV Steel to help the conglomerate fight thousands of retired coal miners who wanted more health and pension benefits

-written scholarly papers on health care and bankruptcy without showing her data, and crafted federal health and banking regulations without a brain.

    - the intellectual architect of the massively unpopular Dodd-Frank Act and ObamaCare, both of which are dragging down the U.S. recovery.

    - accused by several law professors of “repeated instances of scientific misconduct”

    - Peer reviews have dismissed her research as “deeply flawed.”

    - Atlantic magazine found a disturbing “pattern” of using bogus metrics to inflate the case for her leftist nostrums.

    - in a new ad she doubles down on her oft-told lie that she’s a Cherokee Indian, even while admitting she has zero proof. “As a kid, I never asked my mom for documentation when she talked about our Native American heritage,” Warren explained. “What kid would?”

Sure, maybe a kid wouldn’t, but an adult would…

IMO if she is elected it's a stand-off (no pun intended). Barney Frank leaves, Elizabeth Warren enters. Net impact, zero.

Elizabeth Warren Bombs First Post-Election Press Conference…
    [IMG]

    Via Boston Herald:

A jittery U.S. senator-elect Elizabeth Warren gave one-sentence answers, ducked questions and even passed one on to Gov. Deval Patrick in an awkward first press conference since the election.

Warren spoke for a total of less than four minutes during the 11-minute press conference — the rest was taken up by Patrick and reporters’ questions.

After being asked her first question — how she’d protect defense spending — Warren was silent as she turned to Patrick.

“Defense spending is you,” Patrick prodded Warren.

    “Oh, that’s mine,” Warren replied.

After Warren fielded the question, Patrick stepped in to answer the follow-up.

“Let me start,” said Patrick, shielding Warren from having to answer.

When she did respond, the answers were often brief.

How does she feel about the high female voter turnout and the election of women in New Hampshire?

    “I’m glad,” she said.

    Is it surprising?

“I’m glad that the women turned out to vote, it meant a lot,” said Warren.

Asked what impact more women in the Senate would have, Warren punted.

“You want to try answering that?” she said, turning to Patrick, who stepped in again.
