I guess that whupping that he got from New Orleans last night convinced him the Pro's weren't for him!!
interesting <r>on paper, is there a tougher division than the SEC West?<br/> <br/> -Alabama (Saban)<br/> -Auburn (Tubesteak)<br/> -LSU (Miles) for now<br/> -Arkansas (Petrino)<br/> -Miss State (Croom)<br/> -Ole Miss (Nutt)<br/> <br/> Perhaps the least thought of nationally are Nutt, who has done well for himself onfield in the SEC and Croom who is still turning around a monster loser in Miss State..but he is still turning it around.<br/> <br/> Maybe Croom should apply to switch spots with Vandy <E></E></r>
Re: interesting <r><QUOTE><s> </e></QUOTE> Yep. B12 North x 1<br/> <br/> How bad is Bo? He's so bad Doc O'Keefe could go straight to the root canal with no gas or Novocaine.</r>
Bill, I did. I sent you an e-mail 1st thing this a.m. You should have it. The return message said so. If you didn't, let me know, I'll send again. Corey, I couldn't understand your last message. You sound like you might have a hair caught in your throat (God I hopes it's a female hair). Take a drink of water, you'll be alright.  Scott!! Who's your coach again?
I'm not sure how thrilled I would be if Petrino become our coach. No doubt he can coach but geez he's been almost moving on for several years. I wouldn't feel comfortable that he would be around long.
huskerman <t>I'm drinking that Husker Kool-Aid that's telling me Bo won't suck. I'm on board. I'm with you...but it goes down rougher than an epileptic with braces. (or so i've heard)<br/> <br/> Bill,<br/> <br/> I believe he was at Louisville for 4 years and it was a foregone conclusion that he would be 'moving up' the entire time he was there. I too would be concerned about him leaving. Perhaps he learned some lessons in the NFL?</t>
Yes, Louisville kept throwing more money and facility improvements at him and he left for Atlanta where he didn't last a year. Also some of the things I read in an article about his relationship with his players didn't sound that good. But hey, good luck. He left an NFL job worth about 5 mill a year for a job in the SEC West, that's two coaches there that left the NFL.
Petrino is taking a lot of heat from the national media over this. I think he made the right decision for himself but he could have addressed the players in person and not by sending them a note. The situation in Atlanta is nothing what he thought it would be when he took the job and the situation just got a lot worse for the players and the brass of that organization.
I was thinking Petrino at Arkansas might make the Aggie/Razorback series to be played in Jerry Jones new Stadium quite a challenge. Then I remembered the games won't start until 2009, so Petrino will have moved on before we play them... 8)
