Yeah, just another late night Pac game where all they say is, "You. You go long". (Right, Doc? ) It was an exciting game. I did stay with it until the end and am glad I saw the finish live, but my emotions were tempered somewhat by the realization that we still don't have the defensive personnel to contend for a conference championship. Before the season I had Arizona pegged as a 7-5, maybe 8-4 team this season, and I still feel it's achievable, but it appears it's going to be tougher than I thought. Arizona is 4-0 right now and unranked, with the next four games at Oregon, against USC, at WSU, and at UCLA. We could easily go 0-4 or 1-3, but I'm hoping we can find a way to beat USC at home and WSU on the road. I think our best bet of beating USC is keeping their defense on the field and taking advantage of their lack of depth in the second half, but unless we do a better job on time of possession, which has been like -12 minutes the last two games, that's not going to happen.
You guys always give the Bruins trouble and it's not like you haven't beaten great Duck teams in the past, as well. There's a chance that Cal has finally got that whole Dykes offense thing down..
LOL...I remember those days! Great late night football!! Those were the days my friend We thought they'd never end We'd sing and dance forever and a day We'd live the life we choose We'd fight and never lose For we were young and sure to have our way. La la la la... Those were the days, oh yes those were the days
