Eh JOCO... looks like Stanford picked an Upland kid (Nunes) to be the replacement for Luck... Why do I want to say that I saw that kid play the last time I was home?

My granddaughter Briana is a softball player at Upland High School and she knew Josh Nunes when he was there last year. Unfortunately, asking girls to give football analysis is not a very reliable way to gather information. When I asked her about Nunes last year, all she talked about was how cute he was...

Yes, you saw him and he's a great one.

    BTW-

New UCLA coach Jim Mora put his team through a desert hell-on-earth to make them tougher. Instead of lolling around the pools in Westwood, he moved his entire fall camp to my alma mater Cal State San Bernardino.

Uh......what are they trying to say about my alma mater?

I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of havoc Lumpy (Kesley's new coach) can wreak on the west coast.
I think it's the perfect place for him to thrive.

Well WSU has one of the nations top returning QB's and one of the top returning WR's. So Leach has the raw materials and he's always maintained that he can write his game plan in 5 plays on a napkin so they should pick it up quickly.

Problem will be, like at Tech, no defense.

It's not just Leach at Wazzoo, although I do agree that he will wreak havok. It's RichRod at Arizona, Mora at UCLA and Graham at ASU joining a conference that already has Little Kiffin at USC, Chip Kelly at Oregon, Sarkisian at UDub, Whittingham at Utah, and Tedford at Cal. This should be fun...
