    :D

I can't wait. All the hockey games are fixed by gamblers and I hate the local basketball team (the Lakers). I'm ready for some hardball right now.

    Well.....I've done it.

I now have XM satellite radio in my car, so I can listen to any MLB game anywhere in the country. I travel 15-20,000 miles per year around Indiana, most of which is at night to and from school board meetings. I'm looking forward to this summer, listening to Vin Scully and others while I drive.

Sid I have XM Radio as well, didn't get the Major League package as I don't travel like you do and when I do it's mostly in Texas so I don't miss out on the Astros. I think you'll like the XM package, you can listen to a lot of different channels. I like the comedy channels and the old time radio channel.

I need to look into XM, as well as a portable player. Most weekday Sox games come on at 4pm out here, so during baseball season I end up staying in the office until past 7 quite often because I don't want to miss the last several innings while going home. With a portable player that wouldn't be an issue, plus I could also work in the yard during the weekend day games.

The XM portable player also has the capabilty to record up to 5 hours of programing. So you could set it to record the Sox games and listen to them even when you were too busy to catch the start of the game.

Also once you are a subscriber to XM they have a website where you can listen to the majority of their stations online. Not all of them though, and I'm not sure if you can listen to MLB online with XM.

BDR I see you changed your Avatar. I was so impressed with your Wilbur reading a book avatar that i emailed it to my old girlfriend who went to ASU. She said that maybe Wilbur could read but that he was the only one at UA that was literate! :)

    Terry,

Not sure what you mean about not purchasing the "Major League Package"

I have XM radio (love it) and MLB (all games) is part of the basic package.

Ask her if all ASU "students" can handle handguns, or if it's only the football players.

Terry, it's part of the package, not an "extra". If you subscribe to XM Radio, you get MLB games.
