The scene at BT's game watching party no later than the second quarter. While at the same time in Milwaukee, a man drinks to excess trying to erase everything from his memory:
God bless 'em..... <object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="//www.youtube.com/v/04C9pnZQ68w?hl=en_US&version=3&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="//www.youtube.com/v/04C9pnZQ68w?hl=en_US&version=3&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
This from the Columbus Dispatch this morning. The week of the The Game has started, and second-year Ohio State coach Urban Meyer, who staunchly refers to the opponent as “our rival” or “the team up north,” committed a Freudian slip today. “I grew up in 10 year war,” the 49-year-old Ashtabula, Ohio, native said, referring to the classic games from 1969-78 that featured Woody Hayes vs. Bo Schembechler, “and I learned to dislike Michigan at a very young age.” Oops. When reminded moments later he had made the slip, he smiled. “Wow!” Meyer said. “I apologize.”
Michigan has about as much chance of winning this game as a snowball's chance in Hell...., Mi. Wait a minute.... a snowball might have a helluva chance in Hell, Mi. But seriously? No way Jose that Urban Meyer loses such an important rivalry game when he has the upperhand.
What Urban Meyer has failed to consider is Michigan's secret weapon......BOBDA! He's been silent for a couple of days, which leads me to believe he is plotting a massive onslaught of photos, cartoon, and video to create a media deluge intended to derail the OSU focus and give Michigan a fighting chance. The Skybox world is on pins and needles.
Good question Terry. Urban has publically indicated that Miller needs another year, prior to trying the NFL.. I am inclined to agree, but unfortunately Braxton has not solicited my opinion! I really hope he stays, but that is not my decision to make.
