Sad way to end the season, losing the two final games, but our defense with good teams was just too porous.

The combination of Boyd and Watkins provided some excellent football.

You simply can not have four turnovers and expect to win a game like this. Two of those turnovers resulted in quick scores for fourteen points by Clemson.

No excuses for me, just disappointment. On the other hand not very many teams ever experience 24 straight wins? I realize of SOS was not great, but you still need a bit of luck along the way to win that many games.

The third turnover the muffed punt changed the whole game. At that point OSU had the lead and the ball.

Noticeable speed difference which surprised me. Buckeyes missed the two defensive starters who were not there.

When you consider that FSU slaughtered Clemson at Clemson........

As a partial ACC member, I was glad for the Clemson win. Although, like OU, I generally don't like Clemson! :?

Might have been even worse loss if Clemson doesn't shoot itself in the foot with that goal line interception and a couple of terrible broken pass coverages. That pass to Heureman it's like they forgot you have 11 players on offense.

Has anybody figured out why the Big 10 suspended that guy for 3 games? Urban and Ohio State apparently don't think it was warranted.

Oh yeah I didn't watch the trophy ceremony but did Sweeny really take a shot at South Carolina as part of his acceptance speech?

"Sources" told the Columbus Dispatch it was due to use of an unapproved dietary supplement. Meyer did not confirm this but was optimistic that it stood a good chance of surviving appeal. It did not.

Was a disappointing game. I'm not sure what to think of it. Thought the kids played hard. No excuses but I wonder if Urban Meyer considered taking Miller out. He was obviously hurting, even at the start of the game. Gutsy kid, though. Played a pretty good game and I doubt it would have changed the outcome.

    The fumbled punt was...just huge.

"We are Orange Bowl champs again," Swinney said. "Hey, listen: Two years ago we got our butts kicked on this field. And it has been a journey to get back. We're 22-4 since that night. And we are the first team from the state of South Carolina to ever win a BCS game."

Oh yeah he took a shot.....

Let the record show that despite the fact that Ohio State was playing against our new conference brother, I maintained my loyalty to the Big 10.........and it cost me big time.

If I was Auburn I would be considering it.

UF has a decided advantage over FSU though.... as has often been pointed out.... because they are in-state and we play the noles every year...
