However, his refusal to release his academic records, his admitted deficiencies as a student, and his frequent factual errors–even in his chosen field of constitutional law–have cast doubt upon his supposed genius. Now, Breitbart News has established that Obama’s grades and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores may have been even lower than those of his supposedly less capable predecessor, George W. Bush. Breitbart News has learned that the transfer class that entered Columbia College in the fall of 1981 with Obama was one of the worst in recent memory, according to Columbia officials at the time. If Obama’s SAT scores were near the average of the transfer students entering Columbia in the fall of 1981, he would have scored significantly lower than George W. Bush, whose combined math and verbal scores were 1206 out of a possible 1600 points (as revealed by the New Yorker in 1999). In his autobiography, Dreams from My Father, Barack Obama describes himself as an unfocused high school student whose mother scolded him for being a “loafer” (142). He describes his attitude toward his studies at Occidental as “indifferent” (146), calling himself a “bum” who abused drugs (138) and who was notorious for partying all weekend (165). That has raised questions about how Obama earned a place at Columbia in 1981, paving the way to Harvard Law and beyond. Indeed, like much else in his biography, Obama seems to have fictionalized the process through which he gained admission to Columbia. Obama writes in Dreams: “[W]hen I heard about a transfer program that Occidental had arranged with Columbia University, I’d been quick to apply”(172). Details about the proposed daytime program featuring Sharpton in a Judge Judy-type role emerged at the trial of James Rosemond, the hip-hop manager who is facing life in prison for his alleged role in a cross-county narcotics ring that generated tens of millions of dollars through the sale of thousands of kilos of cocaine. Rosemond’s business dealings with Sharpton were detailed yesterday by government witness Tony Martin, who worked closely with Rosemond at Czar Entertainment, the management company that prosecutors contend served as a front for the cocaine operation (and through which drug profits were laundered). [...] Asked if the Sharpton project generated income for the 47-year-old Rosemond, Martin replied, “No, Jimmy said it was costing him money because he was paying for Al Sharpton to go to Los Angeles. Obama Admin To Spend $1.4 Million On Summer Jobs For Youths Watching Birds And Counting Fish… (CNSNews.com) — The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced $1.4 million in spending as part of President Obama’s Summer Jobs+ program, saying the money will go to hire 500 young people, “particularly urban and minority youth,” to work on government projects over the coming summer. An additional $2.3 million will be added from private partners working with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) for a total of $3.7 million. “This public-private partnership will help bring young people from diverse backgrounds and urban areas to the public lands for meaningful employment opportunities, mentorships, and the joy of the great outdoors,” National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Executive Director Jeff Trandahl said in a press release on May 25. According to the USDA, this “competitive grant initiative is being funded with $1.4 million from the BLM [Bureau of Land Management] and the Forest Service, matched by $2.3 million raised by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation from private partners through the America’s Great Outdoors: Developing the Next Generation of Conservationists initiative.” The per-job cost of the program is only $7,400, raising questions as to whether the positions will be paid, given the low per-job cost of some of the programs. The USDA did not respond to CNSNews.com’s questions about whether the positions will be paid or unpaid.

This is good work,’” Clinton said. “The man who has been governor and had a sterling business career crosses the qualification threshold.” Clinton also went on to say that Romney’s time at Bain Capital represented a “good business career.” The Obama campaign is in the third week of an all-out assault on Romney’s time as a corporate buyout specialist — accusing the GOP nominee of bankrupting companies and laying off workers all while pocketing a profit for himself and investors. But the negative tenor of their attacks on an influential segment of Wall Street have made some Democrats uncomfortable. Clinton is the highest profile Obama surrogate so far to show discomfort with the attacks on Bain, with the former president even praising the company and Romney’s record. The president forgot to pay for his meal at Kenny’s BBQ on Capitol Hill this Wednesday, ABC News reports. The meal launched his new attempt to inspire responsible dads, called “Fatherhood Buzz.” Along with two active duty Army men and two local barbers, Obama stopped at the restaurant to celebrate Father’s Day early and chat about what it means to be a dad. The president ate a pile of ribs covered in barbecue sauce, collard greens, red beans with rice and cornbread. After eating a $55.58 meal, Obama and his entourage simply left without paying. By the end of the day, the White House had realized the error and settled the bill. Let’s hope they left a tip.
