How appropriate Jim! 8) I rode bikes from the time I was 14 until I was 22 and moved to Texas. Sold everything to make the move there then and never replaced it when I came back to Tennessee in '81. Then Cindy came along and really didn't like bikes. Now she is showing her return to youth with her Charger and i, well, you know.

I'm sure that the Docs will be happy to see another donorcycle on the road.

Well, I did not get that one. After fitting my butt to the seats of several different styles, I made the decision to go with the "Fat Bob" Harley.

By the way... What's the difference between a Harley Davidson and a Hoover? (Answer posted later!)

Earlier in my life, one of my dreams was to take a cross country motorcycle trip. Of course, that was before marriage and children. Needless to say, the dream eventually faded with age.

Well, Tom, so you did it. As a former owner of a Harley 45 and a Vespa, I can agree they are fun. The Harley damned near killed me when a pickup made a left in front of me during my stint as pilot during WWII. Landed in the ditch with no injuries to me or another pilot who was actually driving. Colonel Stomme finally banned them from the base as the injuries were all related to bikes not flying.
