After hearing this fat, tattooed version of Joe Dirt, I'm not surprised he denied any wrong-doing. I did find it suprising Mullen backed him up. This video leaves little doubt as to his intent. SEC probably should have tacked on a few more games since this is not his first offense.
Just like the slimeball Darnell Dockett was merely trying to extract his hands in a twisting fashion when he wrenched the knee of Earnest Graham in the bottom of that UF-FSU pile back when Slick Mickey Andrews was in charge of the Nole defense..... This is so blatant from the video..... should be a 5 game supension.
Was it a Gator who tried to poke a guys eyes out when Urban was there? I've talked to several football players who say some dirty **** goes on in those pile ups.
I agree that one game is not enough after watching this video. This was an intentional attempt to injure an opposing player. This thug mentality must be removed from college athletics and placed into penal institutions where it belongs.
That photo sequence was not the incident I was thinking of...it wasn't against GSU and the player he was poking at had his helmet on.
Terry, Here is another: http://fansided.com/2013/11/07/photo-shows-florida-player-gauging-todd-gurleys-eyes/
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4616581 I remember watching that game and seeing Spikes get his helmet ripped off by a Georgia player and getting his own eys poked before the incident in which he retaliated.
Dang I didn't know there were so many picutres out there of Gators gouging opposing players eyes. But the one I'm thinking about was during Urban Meyers tenure and it was a big time game on Sat Night.
by my count, the kid did that 3 times and hurt guys twice. The first time I thought, 'man, that looked intentional but maybe the big guy couldn't stop.' the second time, I thought 'man, that guy is an asshole. I don't believe in coincidence.' the 3rd time, I had to openly wonder if the officials were watching the game at all. Then again, it's not like LSU doesn't 'give em the business' and play to the 'echo of the whistle' themselves. These things work themselves out in time.
