Lavin certainly has seemed to have gotten the Johnnies headed in the right direction. They are very tough in the Garden and I wouldn't be surprised if they make a deep run in the BE Tourney. It's good to see St. Johns back IMHO.

Are they playing all their tournament games in the Garden?

Well of course the BE Tourney is exclusively in the Garden, so that will help the Johnnies, their fans will be back unless there is some sort of gigantic collapse over the final weeks.

NCAA tourney rarely seems to have ever been played in the Garden.

Texas goes down to Neb and the Irish drubbed by WVA in Morgantown.

I wonder when I'll hear from AJ?

I watched Pitt and the Irish lose today. Notre Dame looked lousy: pee-you...

St. John's will be OK as long as they stay at home, but they're doomed outside of New York. I watched them get physically pushed around by UCLA at Pauley Pavillion last month and they will have problems against better rebounding teams.

Ole Sweet 16 Lavin will make some noise, get a t-shirt and go home to be forgotten.

Every team in the Big East has a glaring weakness. I don't see any of them winning it.

Pitt is the best team in that conference, but they're just too slow. Tennessee ran their ass right out of the gym.. Anyone who can push the ball athletically can beat them..

Texas has speed and athleticism, but UConn ran them out of their own gym when they came to Austin.

Boy JIF, I listen to you and had St. Johns into the sweet 16. That didn't help my bracket. :(

Regardless it's nice to hear from you.

Gip, the Zags out rebounded ST Johns 43 to 20. Their big men , Sacre, Harris and Dower totally controlled the rim.
