Looks like Mississippi is about to get hammered. This has been playing out for a long time. Doesn't look good.
Was gonna post on this yesterday but didnt get a chance. Latest allegations still don't address Laremy Tunsil. And they are still touting Freeze as a good guy who didn't know anything. Place is rotten to the core.
Tunsil is from right up the road from Gainesville......Lake City, Fl. Should have been a Gator under normal recruiting circumstances as he was a Gator fan growing up and I always thought it was strange that Ole Miss somehow got him instead. To the bad apples I always say good riddance... don't want em.
I liked the part where there were recruits that Ole Miss paid more than 10K who went elsewhere and apparently kept the money. I wonder who they were and what SEC School paid them more? SEC Bagmen are legendary, it's the one thing I'd like to see outed if it's true and if it's just urban legend with no basis in fact I'd like to know that as well.
I remember in 2013 Miss. having a top 5 recruiting class. This was so far ahead of their normal rankings that I just knew something was not right. No surprise.
With scrutiny that the SEC gets, it is hard for me to believe that "SEC Bagmen" could continue to operate. Of course urban legends are hard to disprove.
Looks as if Ole Miss goes down, they want to take other conference brothers along for the ride. http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2017/2/23/14715312/ole-miss-ncaa-allegations-msu-leo-lewis
Yeah, the Ole Miss/Miss St. Rivalry is as intense as any other. People just don't know about about it because it seldom has national implications
I read where several athletes were given immunity so they would talk to the NCAA. I am all for all of this being investigated, but I hope we don't get into another anonymous witness, secret evidence and investigations again. This is going to get nasty because apparently Ole Miss is going to try to deflect scrutiny by implicating Miss St. (that can't be because Cam Newton and his father were innocent) and possibly other schools. As others have found out once the NCAA is in, they dig into every little thing.
Good ol' Southern Exchange of Currency I remember a kid Pelini lost to MSU...he said all but the kid got paid...but that was on FOX sports, so I'm just paranoid.
