It was the last play for Trinity University (San Antonio Texas) vs Milsap Univ and they have to score on this play to win...2 seconds left. <object width="440" height="361"><param name="movie" value="http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/player.swf?mediaId=3083220"><param name="wmode" value="transparent"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/player.swf?mediaId=3083220" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="440" height="361" allowScriptAccess="always"></embed></object>
Omigosh! What unbelievable execution! I'm amazed at the presence of mind of the players to lateral at just the right time and to be in position to receive the lateral. We'll be seeing this again in the category of greatest college plays.
Pretty amazing wasn't it Sid, how they made all those laterals and not one of them forward. I wonder if they practice this sort of end of game situation or did they just get lucky. It sort of reminded me of a game we played as kids called Toss Up and Tackle. Terry
I"ve got to give props to the guys doing the play by play. That's a lot of names to have to call for one play. As to the players, to throw that many legal latterals and keep from getting tackled is quite a feat. Good stuff.
