when Pop Warner football players have their own videos on the web. :? :?

This Blog is sort of sick also, I hope the Blogger is not the kid. Cody Paul ...11 years old...or one of his relatives.

The kid has some moves for an 11 y/o, he may be the next Craig James for all I know.

    Check it out!!

Cody Paul the Next Reggie Bush

I've coached a lot of kids that looked good in Pop Warner. Today they are 5'9" 200lb. fathers with pot bellies.

The best kid I ever saw was a kid I coached against in football and baseball. He was spectacular in both . But he hated his father for never letting him just be a kid.

Sure the kid looks good against these young defenders. Good moves are relative to the moves of those trying to stop you.

Ditto everything George and Tom said plus you cannot predict how a young kid will perform as he grows. Like George, I have a story to recall about a kid one year older than Brian who was a man-child in grade school. He played up 1-2 grades in football so he would not hurt his classmates. He consistently crushed HRs in Little League. You would think he was a lock to be one of the greatest adult athletes of all time. He stopped growing in 7th grade and ended up 5'6". He was/is an outstanding young man but he never grew into what people thought he would become.

That's why this tape does not impress me.

It did cross my mind that 6-7 years down the line he could have grown into a LB, or maybe as Sid said didn't grow at all or even decide football wasn't for him.
