I just thought we all needed a laugh. I sort envision this prank being played by AJNJ or Gipper. It will take a second or two to load, it's a prank played on a Telemarker by this guy Tom Mabe. Who I've never heard of before, but it's pretty funny.

    That was funny as he!!.

    I love it.

I would do something like that, not nearly as well.

I do like to have a little fun with telemarketers. Sometimes when they call I just tell em I hand my paycheck over to my wife every week and that she is the boss and I don't make any decisions in the house except for taking the garbage out. I'll tell them my wife is mean and she will not feed me or do my laundry. I'll then call out to my wife, Honey it's for you and head straight for the hills !!

I did these things as a kid. I just never grew up.

Sometimes I ask if they'd like to call my trustee in bandruptcy. Sometimes I ask if they'd wait until my guardian gets home. And sometimes I tell them that I have to clear it with my probation officer.
    This guy was great.

Thats great! My recording says the following. " Hello......(long pause)....If you are a politician, if you are selling something, if you are seeking a donation, HANG UP NOW. All others, leave a message and I will return your call very quickly." I talk to nobody I dont know! jif

Indiana has had a do not call list for a couple of years, and it is great! We almost never get those calls. Once in a great while someone will sneak through the gauntlet, and I hang up before they finish their first sentence.

Same here, Joel, but the rules for charities are pretty restrictive. If a worthwhile charity calls, like cancer or heart, etc., I show them respect, but I don't make donations over the phone.
